Here I am to Worship

Yea, Recruit Training Camp 2013 ended yesterday! get to personally know the sec 1 boys better! they're super cute bunch of boys! teaching them the knowledge of brigade and creating jokes with them! :)

It's super tiring to have less than 5 hours of sleep everyday in the camp but it's worth it when you see the boys grow and mature in brigade! and even better when they receive christ! And it's because of the Boys' Brigade that i get to know Jesus! Cant forget the amount of time and effort the officers put in just to reach out to me. That was the love i was blessed with and now im coming back to serve in this ministry!

Thank You Jesus for this opportunity to serve!

Yea, this was the verse that spoke to me! so timely! Since the start of cny, there were so much questions/expectations for me from my dad/relatives. Reason being, I'm getting older... in the army... hit 21... sitting on a chair... nothing else to talk about...

And soon after, i got so distracted by all the questions imposed on me that i began to worry so much about whats next in life. Like what to study, how can i get the highest possible education ever, how many certs can i get, how to earn money, what can i do with the money, how to create a currency out of money, how come housing is so expensive now, how can i bring all these certs, credit and money to my grave, etc.

All these endless questions resulted to the previous post of question marks. It was kinda sad thinking about it again. :(

"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

okay, so today i got forced to go shopping at ion.... and yes, i bought jeans, shirt and shoe = $200++ spent in 1 hour.... how fast is that! thanks jiajun,desmond,daryl and junde for the "advice/peer pressure" to buy the stuffs! lol! :D

and i realised its my first time ever buying stuffs in town! after 21 years of my life! i only go orchard to eat and drink coffee! i have never really walked into a store and shop for items! usually i'll get my clothings from church events, class tees, presents, mum/aunt.... haha! okay! happy new year!

yea! christmas bash 2012 is over! i like this snowman! i find it's super cute! the smile! lol!

yea! and this the popcorn machine that peijun rented! and i finally get to play with it! i've wanted to play with this machine ever since SP open house in 2008! i just find it fascinating to see the corn burst out into a pillow! i even watch youtube about it! the slow motion is super cool!

yea and this is a photo taken at xmas bash! with half of the LG! i was doing lights... so didn't have time to take with the whole LG! and some of them had to leave first... sad... 

Yea, I got this glow-in-the-dark watch 3 months ago! and i still think its super cool! even in 10 years time. it's still cool!

i even took 2 piece of glow-in-the-dark tape and paste it to make the effect nicer! ahaha! soon i'll tape the whole watch with it!

and this is how it look like in the dark! i really took a photo of it... but the glow-in-the-dark sticker can't produce enough light for the camera to capture the image! sad...



okay.... my jeans and shoes are worn out... mum's forcing me to get new ones.... so i have to get new pairs and it's a nightmare for me! i hate shopping!

whenever i shop, i would talk to myself and plan for the next 5 years on the item... questions like - is it worth it, how many times am i gonna use it, how is it gonna benefit me, does it look good, is there another store with better deals? and the list goes on and on....

so i would spend 1 hour in a shop thinking over a shirt.... wad is this! waste time! ahaha! i rather spend it on food!

whenever my parents gives me money to shop for clothing, i would just spend it all on food!

I got too bored at work, so i started drawing the lighting equipment on stage for yi camp! gonna be a tough and tiring setup! but yes! God be my strength! 

Have to plan really well for the tearing down and setting up of equipment!

yeaa~ alot of things happened this week! enjoyed it alot! And i really wanna thank Jesus for it! :)

So I went to "Gardens by the bay" for a family-cohesion-day event with my army mates! :}

Just roaming around joking and having fun with them! They are a great bunch of jokers! hahaha!

Something that i have to mention: Gardens by the bay have really nice scenery!

Then after that we went to roadhouse demsey hill to have lunch! 

And i ordered bacon marinated WAGYU BEEF BURGER! AH shiok! haha!

this have been my phone wallpaper for the past 2 days! and i still can't get over the juiciness of this burger! every bite is just this goodness juice coming out of this wagyu beef! ahhh!

The guy wearing the cap beside me is call PEH YUNXIANG! haha! he's my buddy during my "training as a specialist" (stay in) period! a really good friend of mine! We shared devotions, encouraging each other to pray and seek God in camp! :) and always eating our meals together!

Isaac and dingming for china mission trip! it's so exciting to see them off! told them to expect for so much more for this trip and also the experience i had... it got me so excited for this trip! all the chinese songs started to ring in my head once again! but i don't know the words! ah! fun! and enjoy all the chinese delicacies! nice!

Madness speed car performance! The car top speed uses up 1.7 Gallons of fuel per minute! that's 6.5 litre per minute! :O)-)

Okay so we went to tea party to celebrate! #kairosadoration hahaha!

And this was the carbonara that made me got in love with it 2 years ago! the infused smoked bacon flavour in the lightly sauce cream, just nice covering every surface of the handful amount of linguine pasta after a good toss in the hot pan. my mind just went blank after eating that! haha!

aw man! i still cannot forget that taste almost 2 years ago! and i've been trying my best to come up with such a great tasting pasta ever since then! if you follow my blog, i have been blogging about the different types of carbonara sauce! trying my best to reach to my preferred type of carbonara! and it was a great journey! from using cans of cream of mushroom to making my own cream! :D glad that i did not give up! 

now, i prefer my carbonara compare to the tea party one! haha!

yea, my grandma striked 4d again... -.- so she treat my mom and i to a random 3-course meal!

first was a huge amount of seafood! unbelievable shells and stingrays and king prawns! :D.... drools

then my grandma got bored, so she went over to get ribeye steak, a whole chicken and salad from chargrill...

then she got bored again and went to order frog leg porridge! the best one i ever had in the west! :)

yep... i have to run another 12km (random but good number) after eating all these! have to maintain to eat more! hahaha!
